End of February

Hey guys, it is literally a month and a half until Austria!!! Therefore Chris decided it was time to quit the band.. I know right... Soooo stuck we had two drummers in mind. With one declining we came up with the idea of doing electronic drums.
In my mind think: Bloc Party, Idiot Pilot, Postal Service, Test Icicles. The drums for Track 1 are completed and on listening to them about an hour ago, oh my god. They are sounding insane! In the words of Mario:

Sending you song one today!! It sounds better than infected mushroom on acid! prepare for music that will be world renound. ur mother will even OD on it! Your grandfather will get an erection without his daily dosage of viagra

And this was my reaction on hearing it:

Michael says:
dude its dark man
dude
its awesome but i have no idea where like the distortion comes in
oh
shit i think i know
FUCK ME
so complex
its insane
dude
its actually amazing
does it sound good with guitar?
and stuff
man its sooo cool
man its insane
srsly
omg
i think i wanna cry
actually amazing

That's how good.
Theo is getting a new laptop as the others all have one and we are good to go. With a song a week we should be sorted. I will keep you up to date. I plan on posting a new blog on recieving each new track. This is pretty much everything for now.
Until next time, bye

Last day of January

hey guys! last time I wrote I said I'd write again after the gig on the 5th...

I'm a little late

The gig was a success! Positive feedback all around, turnout was good, sound was not bad at all... enjoyed it entirely! Made some mistakes but that just means more practice! :)

Since then we've all taken a little break. I am back at Uni over in the UK and the others are getting stuck in with their school work, and Chris is working.

February is just around the corner and we are going to start working on a small promo pack for our Austria date. We will decide what songs to choose and then lay that shit down! We have a good 2 months ahead so hopefully time will not choose to make fools of us.

We announced our Austria gig on the 5th. We will be heading for Linz along with top Cypriot bands Blynd and Low On Saturn! It will be insane! Videos and pictures of EPIC proportions!
You can see more on the event hereherehere:

EinDutzendEuropa.pdf (application/pdf Object)

posthof - zeitkultur am hafen: Low On Saturn / Blynd / ScarletSnowPrelude

Go ahead and click the links. It's mostly in Austrian, but there is a pretty groovy picture of us.

We have been taking lots of pictures for our album art and will be doing more in Austria.

Lastly, we have had a review printed on the gig in the island's biggest paper: The Cyprus Weekly. Literally half a page with a great photo of us! Check it out! I will post the review up when i get the time!

Thanks to everyone who supports us.
You have no idea how much we appreciate it!

Preperation for Mohito Gig on the 5th Jan

Merry Xmas to everyone and a Happy New Year! x

We have a gig in 6 days on the 5th of January! We're all excited! I think Mario and Chris are a bit sceptic on the venue, as am I but nevertheless, a show is a show! Both Blynd and Death Habit performed there last night, and all I've heard is positive stuff so roll on Mohito!

ur lineup is pretty much set still needs alot of practice to get it perfect though! The place where we practice the owner is going abroad from for like 4 days after New Years so right now we are pretty stuck! We're hoping he can get someone to look after the place while he is away so we can practice. If all goes according to plan the show should be great fun!

We are going to have a Merch stand with t-shirts and hoodie, so get in while you can people!

We have a photo shoot on the 6th for the new EP/LP! Chris is having trouble getting out of work for it but we'll see what happens! I go back to the UK on the 10th for 2 months and then back again for more work on the album. The rest of the guys are going to have a couple gigs without me in the meantime maybe, to stay on form!

Thats pretty much the gist of it so far, will write again after the gig!

December 05 2008

Had practice. I was 45 min late as nap was surely needed. Then washing my hair became a mission after their was no water so i resulted to a jug of water from the dispenser. Shampoo went everywhere.

We started our DVD as well Theo recorded around the studio and filmed a couple tracks of us playing.. His PC crashed whilst trying to show us his new material.. that part didn't go to well. Denis kinda sorted it. Lethal saint where recording. their tempo must have been on 1,000,000 im sure of it. half of them where playing pro evo with the record labels graphic designer? nicked a couple drinks from the studio fridge and went down for another practice.

another day tomorrow more practice more work!
should be good
